HEALTH GUARANTEE /contract
Sound health and temperament of said cat/kitten is guaranteed upon arrival. Health records and a care sheet are provided at time of sale. Health is guaranteed for a period of 10 days for viral and 4 years congenital, HCM, FIP, from the time the kitten leaves the possession of the seller. It is recommended that you take the cat/kitten to your veterinarian (at your expense) within this time period for your own satisfaction and protection. If the cat/kitten is found to be medically deficient, it may be returned, and the purchase price will be refunded or a replacement kitten offered as available. All return shipping related expenses to be the responsibility of the purchaser. It is recommended that the care and feeding instructions of the kitten be adhered to. Stress and changes in food can cause diarrhea and digestive upset in young kittens. It is recommended that when a kitten goes home, that he or she is placed in a room of their own in order to be given time to adjust to their new environment and parents for the first three or four days. It is recommended that introductions to other resident cats or dogs be done slowly. If not, and the kitten is left to try and defend theirselves against an older cat, this could lead to a frightening experience for the kitten and take the kitten longer to adapt to their new environment. Kittens must feel secure and be allowed this security when adapting to their new home. Generally, it will take a kitten approximately a week or so to be totally comfortable in their new home. Should the cat/kitten die as a direct result of congenital defect (unknown at time of sale) within four years of time of sale, said cat/kitten will be replaced only if an appropriate necropsy is performed by a licensed veterinarian and a vet's certificate is provided, showing proof of cause of death. A replacement kitten of comparable quality and value, as available, will be made at the discretion of the breeder/seller.
Further requirements: Buyer agrees to take good care of this cat so as to provide food, shelter, suitably healthy and stimulating environment, correct routine and accident related medical attention, exercise and affection. It is agreed that this cat will not be allowed outside without supervision. This animal is a purebred Bengal Cat and the pedigree provided is correct for same. Novice buyers will be mentored to ensure proper procedures is followed in the breeding of said cat, for it's protection and the integrity of the Bengal Breed. Said cat is guaranteed to be free from congenital defects and genetic disease for a period of 4 years from date of sale. Cat is guaranteed to be of acceptable temperament, although buyer is responsible to ensure adequate socialization. If the cat is returned to breeder, all shipping related expenses will be covered by the purchaser. In the event that said cat is found to have a congenital defect/disease: It can be returned to breeder for a replacement of equal quality; It can be kept by the owner, and upon proof of spaying, a refund of 50% of the purchase price will be credited towards another kitten of same quality; No refund or replacement will be given for any cat that has been bred or produced a litter (purebred or otherwise). If there is a question of whether the cat has been used for breeding, buyer agrees to grant breeder full access to veterinarian records. It is agreed that no kittens from said cat will be sold to animal brokers, pet shops or their agents. All kittens will be sold with registration papers, health guarantee and cannot be sold in "litterlots". The cat is never to be bred to an unregistered or mixed breed cat or simply another breed. If such a breeding takes place, the cat and all kittens will be surrendered to breeder.
Cat cannot be sold or leased to a third party at any time. Noadult breeding cats will be placed or sold as breeders, but will be altered beforehand by buyer, once the buyer is finished with said cat in their breeding program and a suitable and loving pet home be found, if said cat is not being kept as a pet. SBT generation cats are guaranteed to be fertile as adults, given sufficient time and opportunity. Should there be any question as to the fertility of said cat, breeder has the right to have full written explanation by a licensed veterinarian. Once done, buyer is responsible to alter existing cat and place it in a suitable loving pet home, and a replacement kitten will be offered as available by the breeder.
A deposit of 500$ for company and 1000$ for breeder quality cat is asked when you reserve a kitten.

Fakir Bengal est une chatterie honnête qui ne participe à aucune magouille, ni ne vend ses chatons à des animaleries. Tous nos chats sont enregistrés TICA et sont annoncés sur notre site avec leur pedigree complet. Nos chats sont régulièrement vus par notre vétérinaire afin de nous assurer de leur bonne santé.
La santé et le tempérament de nos chats sont garantis à l'arrivée du chaton.
Un carnet de santé ainsi qu'une feuille pour les soins à prodiguer à votre chaton vous sont fournis.
Il est recommandé d'amener le chaton chez le vétérinaire (à vos frais) deux à trois jours après l'arrivée du chaton. S'il advenait que le chaton soit déclaré déficient, il sera remplacé ou remboursé. Les dépenses de transport seront au frais de l'acheteur.
Nous offrons une garantie virale de 10 jours et congénitale de 4 ans, HCM et PIF.
CHATONS VENDUS COMME REPRODUCTEURS/TRICES
La fertilité des chats vendus pour la reproduction est garantie. S’il advenait qu’un de nos chats vendus pour la reproduction soit déclaré stérile par un vétérinaire certifié, un autre chat de même qualité serait échangé aussitôt que possible.
Aucun remboursement ni échange n'est offert pour un chat ayant servi à la reproduction ou ayant produit une portée. S'il existe des doutes à savoir si un chat a produit une portée ou non, l'acheteur s'engage à donner libre accès au dossier médical du dit chat.
Les saisies extérieures sont défendues, à moins, d'ue permission spéciale de Fakir Bengal.
Une chatte reproductrice devra être stérilisée à l'âge de 5 ans, au plus tard.
Il est défendu de vendre les chatons, (de nos chats vendus comme reproducteurs) à des animaleries ou leurs agents. Tous les chatons seront vendus avec un carnet de santé et enregistrés. Ils est défendu de les vendre en lot. Il est également défendu de les accoupler à des chats non enregistrés ou croisés ou d'une autre race. Si jamais cela se produisait le chat reproducteur et ses chatons seront confisqués par Fakir Bengal.
Il est interdit de revendre un chat comme reproducteur. Un reproducteur qui a terminé sa carrière doit, si l'éleveur décide de ne pas le garder, être stérilisé et replacé dans un bon foyer.
CHATONS VENDUS COMME REPRODUCTEURS ET COMPAGNIE
L'acheteur s'engage à ne pas laisser son Bengal dehors sans surveillance.
Il est entendu que l'acheteur s'engage à apporter les soins nécessaires aux chatons: affection, abris, nourriture et soins médicaux.
Si Fakir Bengal découvre, qu'un de ses chats vendus, est maltraité physiquement, mentalement ou de toutes autres manières, le dit chat sera confisqué, sans aucun remboursement.
Si vous n'êtes pas d'accord avec les conditions ci-haut mentionnées, Fakir Bengal refusera de vous vendre un chaton.

Nos chats reproducteurs vivent avec nous en toute liberté, dans le confort de notre maison. Il n’y a aucune cage chez Fakir Bengal.
Il est recommandé que vous suiviez les instructions en ce qui concerne la nourriture et les soins a apporté au chaton.

Quoi faire quand vous arrivez à la maison avec votre chaton Bengal?
Le chaton que vous venez de vous procurer est en santé, bien adapté et propre à la litière. Vous voulez qu’il le reste, alors suivez ces recommandations.
Soyez calme. Restreignez les ardeurs de vos enfants ou autres animaux domestiques car ils pourraient approcher le chaton avec trop de brusquerie. Vous pourrez, plus tard, présenter le chaton (quand il sera calme et détendu) aux autres membres de la famille à deux et quatre pattes.
Au début, ne lui offrez pas la maison entière comme terrain de jeux, même si c’est bien tentant. Le départ de la chatterie est un grand stress pour votre chaton et vous devez vous assurer qu’il ne perdra pas ses bonnes habitudes de propreté en le laissant libre dans un grand espace inconnu.
La première semaine, confinez-le dans un espace restreint: une petite pièce ou une grande chambre de bain afin qu’il s’habitue à son nouvel environnement. Allez jouer souvent avec lui et donnez-lui plein d’affection....
La seconde semaine, sortez-le sous haute surveillance seulement. Quand vous serez certain que le chaton retrouve sa litière et qu’il l’utilise adéquatement, seulement, alors, pourrez-vous lui laisser plus de liberté. S’il advenait qu’il s’échappe, remettez-le quelques jours dans la pièce que vous lui aviez réservée dès le depart.
Vérifiez que vous utilisez la bonne sorte de litière. Certains chats préfèrent les litières ouvertes.
